Let’s imagine standing before a powerful and mysterious work, composed of enormous, heavy blocks of stone that—in a time far removed from our own—someone gifted with superhuman strength lifted and positioned, creating seats of megalithic appearance. Let’s imagine all this happening in an unexpected place—at the entrance to a bank, in a hotel lounge, or in a library—in any case, in a context different and distant in terms of urban density and formal language. Let’s imagine, finally, moving closer, touching the surfaces, and only then being amazed by their softness.
